The funeral service of today has become more personalized
than in years past. Families often times wish to have the "traditional"
funeral and visitation services, the way they have in the past,
but for the families that wish to create a more personalized and
unique funeral and visitation service, we can assist you in as many
ways possible.
Some of the types of services that we offer are:
Traditional Services with
Visitation, Funeral Service, and Full Burial

Native American Cultures
Traditional
Services with Visitation, Funeral Service, and Full Burial
- This selection offers a family to use our facilities
for visitation and/or funeral services. In addition, this selection
would allow a family to go to another location, such a church
or synagogue, for funeral service, followed by a full casket burial.
Traditional
Services with Visitation, Funeral Service, and Cremation following
Services
- This selection offers a family to use our facilities
for visitation and/or funeral services. In addition, this selection
would allow a family to go to another location, such a church
or synagogue, for funeral service, followed by cremation.
Graveside Services without
Visitation
- This selection offers a family the choice to
have a religious service at the cemetery only, without any visitation
at the funeral home or other location.
Direct Cremation with Memorial
Gathering and Service
- This selection offers a family the choice of
cremation without viewing, however may want a type of visitation
or "gathering" with an urn and/or pictures present,
followed by a memorial service or "Service of Remembrance."
Direct Cremation without
Services
- This selection offers a family to choose cremation
without any type of service and/or viewing..
Native American Cultures
- We have been very sensitive to the needs and
requests of the Native Americans that reside on the St. Regis
Mohawk Indian Reservation, which lies in both the United States
and Canada. In many of the traditions of the Mohawks, they wish
to have their loved ones brought back to the Reservation for viewing,
funeral services, and burial. In keeping within the Native American
tradition, some families wish to dress their loved ones before
being placed in the casket; in which we respect their request.
Services offered to Native Americans include,
but are not limited to:
- Traditional Services with Visitation at the
Family Home or other Facility
- This selection allows a family to have the visitation
at the family home or other location, followed by a religious
or traditional funeral service. Following the funeral services,
the deceased may be buried or cremated.
We value the respect and friendships that we have
gained with the Native Americans.
